We've not yet managed to pull together the full story, but here, for starters, are a few pictures taken during construction.

Visitors on Carnival Day were invited to make a stitch in "Winster 2000", pay 25p, and record their signature. This was one of the fund raising ideas, and a chance to involve more people.
